who you are
I tend to have a special resonance working with people with marginalized identities — BIPOC, particularly folks of Asian ancestry, LGBTQ+ folks, sensitive, caring, conscientious teens, women, non-binary folks, helpers, creatives, activists, dreamers, high achievers who desire to make a real impact in the world.
Perhaps you are usually the one taking care, holding it together, and giving support to others. Now, you are needing more support and clarity. It is incredibly brave and a sign of strength to acknowledge your needs and take steps towards getting them met.
how we’ll work together
Holistic Relational Psychotherapy: We’ll tend to what’s needed on levels of mind, heart, body, soul, and spirit, and understand the importance of connection and healthy relationships to a truly fulfilling life.
Trauma Healing: Trauma can create a sense of brokenness and aloneness. You are not broken, and you are not alone. Together, we’ll work to reconnect to feeling truly whole and held in your experiences. We’ll work to build trust and understanding, and more fully embody self-worth and nervous system regulation. We’ll honor and tend to the ways sociocultural context, culture, and systemic oppression and violence have shaped all of us and our capacity to love ourselves and others.
Beyond traditional talk therapy: Maybe you are already very self aware and able to acknowledge the patterns that keep you feeling stuck. It feels like you keep finding yourself in cycles of pain or frustration that seem to have deeper roots than you can investigate on your own. We have many ways to dig deeper and explore more expansively:
Somatic Embodied Awareness, Expressive Arts, and/or Psychospiritual approaches can help heal longstanding unhelpful family and ancestral patterns, and clear emotional and energetic blockages. We’ll work to cultivate intuition and tune into the inherent wisdom embedded in your body and soul, to make choices more aligned with your deepest values and who you truly are.
